Há quanto tempo que você joga PES e FIFA? Qual deles você gosta mais e por quê?
Há quanto tempo que você joga PES e FIFA? Qual deles você gosta mais e por quê?
Eu jogava os dois por diversão quando eu estava morando no Chipre, mas meu favorito era jogar a Master League do PES, eu passava muito tempo jogando isso quando eu era mais novo. FIFA é muito simples e por isso eu sempre preferi mais a série PES.
Você venceu o campeonato do Reino Unido em 2010 e logo depois finalizou com a Terceira colocação o mundial de PES, um grande feito! Ano passado teve a oportunidade de jogar o mundial de PES pela segunda vez e foi muito bem, porém não teve sorte para vencer o torneio, de qualquer maneira você é reconhecido como um dos melhores jogadores de PES de todo o mundo. Sendo assim o que o motivou a colocar tanto esforço para também se tornar um TOP player no FIFA?
Eu estava tentando entrar no torneio FIWC ano passado e eu tinha jogado FIFA 12 bastante. A organização no ano passado foi diferente, eles estavam convidando as pessoas aleatoriamente para o torneio FIWC do Reino Unido por um email e eu não recebi nada, o que foi triste já que eu não tive a chance em 2012, mas eu sabia que eu poderia tentar novamente em 2013. Mas toda a experiência que eu tive no PES tornou muito fácil para eu ficar muito bom no jogo.
Quão difícil é o sistema on-line para se qualificar ao FIWC? Quantas horas por dia você tem que jogar a fim de ser capaz de alcançar as primeiras posições em cada temporada da qualificação? Você gosta deste sistema? O que deve mudar para torná-lo melhor?
Eles fizeram isso de forma diferente este ano e eu tinha alguma chance de me qualificar. Eu sabia que eu tinha que jogar um monte de jogos on-line para tornar possível me qualificar para a FIWC Reino Unido. A primeira coisa que fiz foi definir uma meta para mim mesmo para ganhar 15-20 jogos por um dia e isso foi muito frustrante. Isso é o pior sistema, e em um jogo como FIFA, estou muito desapontado.
O fato de FIFA ter tantos ótimos torneios pelo mundo como FIWC, ESWC, WCG e o torneio da Virgin em Las Vegas com boa premiação envolvida teve alguma influencia na sua decisão de tentar o FIFA? PES/Konami tem apenas um grande torneio de nível internacional e sem premiação pode ser considerado frustrante?
Vai ser ótimo tentar participar destes torneios de FIFA no ano que vem, eu sei que o PES não dá prêmios, mas gostaria de aproveitar toda a história PES e realizações como uma experiência e nunca tomar isso como uma frustração, isso não significa que eu vou parar de jogar PES.
FIWC está chegando, você já jogou contra alguns dos jogadores que estarão presentes no evento? Quais jogadores você acha que pode ser um problema para você enfrentar? Qual é a sua expectativa sobre o evento? Quão longe você pode ir?
Eu já joguei online com alguns dos melhores jogadores, tais como Ovvy finalista ESWC e venci por 5-0 ele. Haverá jogadores como Spank, que é um antigo jogador de PES, e eu preciso tomar cuidado, e também com os jogadores que se qualificaram off-line como, por exemplo, da Espanha, Alemanha, Brasil, EUA e Itália. Vou tentar jogar o melhor que posso!
Quais são as principais diferenças entre PES e FIFA?
A diferença entre FIFA e PES é que no FIFA você não pode usar nenhuma formação personalizada nos torneios, você precisa escolher uma formação padrão. Isso faz com que você coloque mais esforço na jogabilidade. PES é mais realista, isso significa que há muita liberdade na jogabilidade e você também precisa se adaptar aos estilos de formação, o que faz com que seja mais difícil para você dominar o jogo.
Como podemos ver através de você, é possível jogar os dois jogos em um nível muito alto, mas quão difícil é adaptar de um jogo para o outro? Quais foram as maiores dificuldades que você enfrentou para adaptar o seu jogo do PES para FIFA?
É provavelmente a coisa mais difícil de todas, se você ficar mudando de jogo o tempo todo isso não vai funcionar, você tem que ficar com um jogo. Depois que eu fui qualificado para FIWC no Reino Unido não joguei mais PES porque isso pode influenciar um pouco do meu jogo no FIFA, isso significa que quando a grande final FIWC terminar, eu volto para o PES.
Quais são as melhores e piores coisas do FIFA e do PES? O que PES poderia pegar do FIFA para melhorar o jogo e vice versa?
FIFA precisa ter certeza de fazer um jogo mais divertido de jogar, de não marcar os mesmos tipos de gols o tempo todo, por exemplo. A comunidade PES precisa corrigir as falhas (glitches) no jogo e também fazer o trabalho de passes 1-2 como nas versões antigas e também melhorar a forma como os goleiros defendem.
Como você administra seu tempo entre FIFA e PES?
Depois que ganhei um evento off-line de PES em dezembro ganhei um voucher de £ 50 e decidi comprar FIFA 13. Eu estava em torno do 1 º lugar no ranking da PES League do Reino Unido neste mês, então eu realmente não precisava jogar para melhorar meus pontos ou posição. Assim, em janeiro eu verifiquei que você não precisaria de muitos pontos para se qualificar para o evento ao vivo do FIWC do Reino Unido (que daria uma vaga ao FIWC grande final em Maio) pelo ranking online e decidi jogar para me qualificar. Eu também tenho que fazer trabalhos na escola e eu estou no meu último ano, isso significa que eu preciso administrar algum tempo também para o meu trabalho escolar.
Você é TOP 3 no ranking do Reino Unido de PES2013 no momento, podemos esperar para ver The_Greek ganhar o título Reino Unido mais uma vez e, em seguida, jogar o seu terceiro Mundial PES Final?
Depois do FIWC vou treinar para a grande final da PES League no Reino Unido e ver como eu vou, também haverá jogadores como Steven e Rob Mclean tentando se qualificar para o mundial este ano, por isso não vai ser fácil.
Por falar em alto nível, você acha que você é melhor no PES ou FIFA? Que jogo você acha que tem mais chances de se tornar campeão do mundo?
Eu acho que meu nível é o mesmo em ambos os jogos, apenas no PES eu tenho mais experiência, mas eu acho que o jeito que eu jogo é similar nos dois.

Once more, our blog brings you an interview with other great international player. Considered one of the greatest PES players in the world, Georgios Tsirita (TheGreek) was third place on PES World Finals 2010 and reached eight-finals on 2012. Recently, he is also training on FIFA and is already playing at a high level.
How long have you been playing PES and FIFA? Which one do you like most? Why?
I was playing both games for fun when I was living in Cyprus, but my most favorite was master league on pro evolution, I spent so many hours playing it when I was very young. FIFA is just too simple and that’s why I always preferred the PES series more!!
You won the UK PES finals in 2010 then finished 3rd in PES world finals that year, really impressive! Last year you had the opportunity to play PES world finals for the second time and did very well but had no luck to win the tournament. Anyway, you are recognized as one of the best PES players in the world, What made you put so much effort to become also a top player in fifa?
I was trying to get into the last year FIWC tournament, and I have played FIFA 12 quite a bit. The organization last year was different, they were inviting people randomly to the FIWC UK tournament by an email and I didn’t get anything which was sad that I didn’t get the chance in 2012 but I knew that I could try again for 2013. But all the experience I had on pro evolution made it very easy for me to become very good at the game.
The fact that FIFA has so many great world tournaments such as FIWC, ESWC, WCG and the Virgin Las Vegas event, and the good prizes involved, did influence in your decision to try FIFA? Konami/PES haves only one big tournament a year and with no money prize, is it frustrating?
It will be great trying to attend these FIFA tournaments next year, I know that PES doesn’t give any prizes but I would take all the PES history and achievements as an experience and never take this as a frustration this doesn’t mean I will stop playing PES.
How hard is the online system to qualify to FIWC? How many hours a day you must play in order to be able to reach the top positions each season? Do you like this system? What do you think they should change to make it better?
They did it differently this year which I had some chance to qualify. I knew that I had to play a lot of games online to make it and qualify for the FIWC UK. First to do this I set a target for myself to win 15-20 games per a day and it was very frustrating. This has to be the worst system ever and on a game like FIFA I’m very disappointed.
FIWC is coming, have you played against any of the players that will be attending the event? What players do you think may be a problem to play with? What is your expectation about the event? How far can you go?
I have played some of the top players online such as Ovvy the ESWC finalist and won 5-0 against him online. There will be players such as Spank which is an old PES player I need to look out for and the players that qualified offline example Spain, Germany, Brazil, USA and Italy, I will try to play the best I can.
What is the major difference between PES and FIFA?
The difference between FIFA and PES is that in FIFA you cannot use any custom formations in competitions and you need to choose a default formation. This makes you put more effort in gameplay. PES is more realistic that means there is a lot of freedom in gameplay and you need to also adapt formation styles, which that makes it harder for you to master.
As we can see, coz of you, it is possible to play both games in a very high level, but how hard is to adapt from a game to the other one? What were the most difficult issues that you faced to adapt your game from PES to FIFA?
It’s probably the hardest thing ever, if you try to keep changing games the whole time it will not work, you have to stick with 1 game. After I qualified for FIWC in the UK I have not played PES because it can influence some of my gameplay, this means that when I finish FIWC in the grand final then I will get back to PES.
What are the best and worst things in FIFA and PES? What could PES get from FIFA to improve the game and vice versa?
FIFA needs to make sure that they make their gameplay more fun to play example not scoring the same goals every time, PES community needs to fix the glitches in the game , and also make the 1-2 passes work like in the old versions and also improve the way the goalkeepers dive.
How do you manage your time between FIFA and PES?
After I won an offline event in December and I got myself a £50 voucher I decided to buy FIFA 13. I was around 1st place in the UK by that month on PES League so I didn’t really need to play to improve my points or position. So in January I checked online that you didn’t need many points to qualify for FIFA the UK territory showdown I decided to play online and qualify. I also have to do work at school and I’m on my last year of my coursework courses in sixth form , that means I need manage some time also for my school work.
You are TOP 3 in UK PES2013 ranking at the moment, can we expect to see The_Greek winning the UK title once again and then playing his third PES World Final?
After FIWC I will practice for the grand final and see how I go, there will also be players like Steven and Rob Mclean trying to qualify for it this year so it will not be easy.
Talking about high level, do you think you are better in PES or FIFA? What game do you think you have more chances to become world champion?
I think my level is the same on both games, is just that on PES I have more experience but I think the way I play is similar.
